E-Sign Act Consent and Disclosure

This E-SIGN Act Consent and Disclosure provides important information required by the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act) and applies to your consent to and the electronic delivery of all communications and required agreements and disclosures relating to onboarding and servicing your new account.

Please read this Federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (“E-SIGN”) Disclosure and Consent carefully and print a copy for your records.

Your Consent - To the extent allowed by law, you agree that any communication from us to you relating to the online opening and onboarding of your account, the online application for your program participation and other related products and services including but not limited to,

  • disclosures,
  • notices,
  • statements,
  • agreements,
  • memberships,
  • confirmations,
  • invoices,
  • receipts,
  • reports,
  • coverage documents
  • insurance documents
  • program descriptions
  • responses to communications from you

or other information required to be delivered under applicable law, may be delivered to you by electronic delivery, and that such electronic delivery shall be in lieu of written communication.

By clicking on any final Finish/Submission/Complete buttons within each product, document, activation, or service request, you affirmatively consent to conduct business electronically with InsureStays.

You have the right to request paper copies of the electronic disclosures, documents and agreements you receive when you open your online account, submit your online applications and agreements, and apply for other related products and services. You may request paper copies by:

  2. Emailing us at [email protected] or [email protected]; or
  3. Calling us at (843) 286-5144 and speaking with a representative.

Email Address and Keeping Your Information Current - In order to communicate with you regarding your account and any related products and services you have requested, you must provide us with your valid email address. It is your responsibility to promptly notify us of any changes.

You can update your email address by either calling us at 843-286-5144, or by submitting your change to us in writing via mail to InsureStays, PO Box 4443, Pawleys Island, SC 29585.

It is your responsibility to provide us with true, accurate and complete e-mail address, contact, and other information related to this Disclosure and your account(s), and to maintain and update promptly any changes in this information.

Print and Download Agreements and Disclosures - Most information on and within our website is provided in either HTML and/or PDF format. For those agreements, disclosures, forms, notices, and other documents provided/available in PDF format, if your computer does not have PDF viewing software installed, you may download A free copy of the most current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader or other PDF viewing software online.

To print or download agreements and disclosures and other documents you must have a printer connected to your computer or have sufficient hard-drive space on your computer to download, store and view the information.

To print, click on the document HTML or PDF link, select Print, select your Printer, and click OK to print to your printer where the document can be printed on your own paper; additionally, select Save or Save As on the File menu option to save and retain an electronic copy on your computer.

Hardware and Software Requirements - You must have access to or obtain at your own cost and expense a computer or other device with

  • An operating system, such as the most current version of Microsoft or Macintosh;
  • Access to the Internet and an Internet browser which supports the most current versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Safari. (Other Internet browsers may be used but are not supported);
  • Active/operating email address;
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader or other PDF viewing software.

By your consent, you confirm that you have access to the necessary hardware and software; furthermore, you acknowledge you are responsible for maintaining sufficient updates to maintain the hardware and software requirements listed above.

All Agreements and Disclosures Are “In Writing” - This and all agreements and disclosures delivered electronically or otherwise made available to you are considered “in writing” and are available to you in a form you may keep by either printing or downloading the documents, or by requesting a paper copy from us.

Withdrawing Consent – You have the right to withdraw your electronic consent to conduct business electronically with us by calling us at (843) 286-5144 and speaking with a representative or by emailing your consent withdrawal to [email protected].

If you withdraw your consent you may not be able to open additional accounts or request additional products and services online, or view or print/download this or the above listed agreements and disclosures through our website.

We may treat an invalid email address provided by you or the subsequent malfunction of a previously valid address or cancellation of participation in our program(s) as a withdrawal of your consent to receive electronic disclosures, documents and agreements. We may impose a fee to process the withdrawal of your consent to receive electronic disclosures, documents and agreements. Any withdrawal of your consent to receive electronic communications, disclosures, documents, or agreements will be effective only after we have a reasonable period of time to process your withdrawal.

Applicability of Consent - Your electronic consent to conduct business electronically applies to the opening and onboarding of your account, the application(s) for your program participation and other related products required to enable your account(s), the ongoing servicing and support of your account(s) and available programs, and your request for other InsureStays products and services.

Electronic Delivery of Disclosures, Documents and Notices: RentalGuardian - To use the RentalGuardian provided Online Management System and to access, receive and retain the Documents and Information, you must provide, at your own expense, an Internet connected computer or device that is compatible with RentalGuardian’s Online Software Management System deployed at the time of access. Your computer or device must meet the minimum requirements outlined above. You confirm that your device will meet these specifications and requirements and will permit you to access and retain the Documents electronically each time you access and use the RentalGuardian system.

By your consent, you confirm that you have access to the necessary hardware and software and that you acknowledge you are responsible for maintaining sufficient updates to maintain the hardware and software requirements.

By your consent, you confirm and acknowledge that all Documents related to this Disclosure and stored within the RentalGuardian system are made available to you and are subject to the terms of this Disclosure.
